01 · The connected experience

The brief

Calm on the surface. Capable underneath.

Nirvana needed more than a prettier website. The studio had to feel warm, distinctive and credible to somebody discovering it on a phone—while making the repeated work of publishing classes, taking bookings and managing changes significantly easier.

The opportunity was to treat the website and the operation as one product: a considered customer experience connected directly to the practical system behind the business.

The technology should do more without making the experience feel more technical.

The idea

One continuous
studio rhythm.

Discovery, booking, payment and returning are not separate problems. Each moment should lead naturally to the next—and every customer action should leave the studio operation more organised.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the studio, teachers and classes.

  2. 02

    Choose

Find the right recurring class and date.

  3. 03

    Book

Reserve with cash, card or a class credit.

  4. 04

    Return

Manage bookings and keep credits in one place.

01 · The atmosphere

Make the digital experience feel like the room.

The visual language moved away from generic wellness cards and decoration. Scale, typography, quiet colour and real photography create a more editorial expression of the studio.

Mobile was treated as the primary arrival point, with useful booking actions always close without flattening the experience into an app interface.

02 · The customer journey

Make choosing feel easy, not transactional.

Each recurring class has one lasting page with the teacher, style, next available date and a direct route to booking.

Members can pay online, use a class-pass credit or reserve a place and bring cash—without learning the system behind it.

03 · The quiet operation

What the customer sees.
What the business gains.

Beneath the calm interface is a set of joined-up rules that keeps the timetable current, protects capacity and makes every booking usable operational information.

01

Recurring timetable

A rolling twelve-week schedule is maintained automatically.

02

Permanent class links

One shareable page for each recurring class—not a new link every week.

03

Member accounts

Passwordless sign-in connects bookings, passes and cancellations.

04

Flexible payment

Customers can pay online, use a pass or reserve and bring cash.

05

Capacity control

Places are protected at database level to prevent overbooking.

06

Credit returns

Eligible cancellations return a credit automatically, valid for six months.

The transformation

Not a booking widget added to a website.

A single product shaped around how the studio is discovered, experienced and run.

Before

  • Visually ordinary presentation
  • Classes maintained as individual entries
  • Repeated links and manual updates
  • Booking detached from the studio identity

Now

  • Distinctive editorial customer experience
  • Automated recurring timetable
  • Permanent class journeys
  • Bookings, payments and credits connected

The outcome

Beautiful enough to remember. Useful enough to return to.

Nirvana now has a coherent digital home that supports both sides of the business: a warmer, clearer experience for customers and a more dependable operating structure for the studio.

The platform is live and evolving. Performance evidence will be added as real booking history develops; no invented growth figures are used here.
